Hi, I am in NSW, worked in Sydney branch until 2005, now run service business in Blue Mountains.
I posted that solution as a bit of fun, stumbled upon this site the other day while researching reviews of other brands of white goods and the problems people have and complain about.
Which state are you in and working for? I am happy to share ideas etc,,,do you work with other brands as well, or soley Asko?

Asko D3530 Dishwasher Water Inlet Fault

I did research on the net and asko mention a special settings menu in the pdf manuals available
you can download a manual but there is a reference to water not entering the washer in the manual and how to trouble shoot it
Pressure pumps deliver water at pressures from 35 psi to 60 psi and if you have checked all of the slow fill reasons , maybe checking the on/off pressure switch for the pump would be a place to investigate
the machine will start when the water has reached the level set
anyway go google and type in - workshop manual for asko dishwasher model d3530 --and download a pdf version to read

How do you open the door, and how do you get the clothes not sopping wet when the wash cycle is done?

HI- If the clothes are coming out wet then there is either a problem with the spin cycle or drain pump. The door won't open if the washer senses there is too much water in the machine. Try doing a dedicated spin again the see if the door will open. Your drain pump may also be clogged. There is a little door at the bottom front of the machine. Open this (pry carefully open with a butter knife) and you will see a plastic plug that can be unscrewed (counter clockwise), this is the pump filter. Be prepared to catch the water that will come out with a pan and have some towels ready, sometimes there is a lot of water. Once you get the filter out clean it out and check for any loose change inside the pump. Screw it back in carefully and tight and be careful not to strip the threads. Run a rinse and spin once it's all back together and see if it drains ok. If it still is not draining you probably need a new pump. There are very few Asko Techs around so you may have some trouble getting someone out. As well, call Asko customer service, they have really good techs that can help you over the phone. Good luck.

I have a 15 year old Asko dryer. The dryer over heats and shuts off. It will start again after cooling and the reset switch is pushed. I've checked the exhaust ducts for clearence and lint filter.I suspect...

Hello and welcome to Fixya,

The problem you`re having ( based on your description, checked exhaust/vent duct`s...hi limit tripping...suspect it faulty ) can be provoked by several factors with dryers, but specifically when it comes to asko in this case.

I`ll try to explain the most common and therefore most likely cause or causes following a couple of questions to clarify where you are in the diagnosis process and what you`ve tried.

First...when you reply can you specify the actual model you have, i.e. TD73, T700, etc. ( Likely the TD73 series based on it`s age, but better sure then guessing ).

Since you`ve stated you checked the vents and lint screen, I`ll ask this. Have you tried running a cycle with the exhaust to the outside disconnected ?

If not try it and see what happens, does it still trip the hi-limit ?

If no it doesn`t trip, then you have a venting problem/air-flo restriction somewhere between the dryer and outside.

If yes it`s either a heating element ( asko original part #8063808 ) or blower wheel/impeller ( asko original part #8055200 ).

Both heater & impeller can also be completely clogged with lint causing the hi-limt to trip as opposed to being outright faulty.

Let me know how this goes and I can assist you further in guiding you to access and inspect the heater and impeller based on the answer`s you post back...if you think you`re capable or you may decide to just phone a technician.

In the event you phone a tech. I`ll add this, make certain the tech. is from an authorized asko service provider or potentially you can spend a lot of money in uneccessary repairs and parts.

Good luck.

I have an ASKO T760 Dryer that continually overheats and then shuts down. I have had a service tech out twice - once to clean the vent and element housing and a second time to clean the "thermister" but...

Check the sensor inside the condenser unit "cage". I read that you can clean inside the little cage with a toothpick. I'm having the same trouble, and plan on trying this before I throw in the towel and purchase a new dryer.

Asko d/w d3122 Hi gang the overfilling protection has been activated, what can I do to remedy the sitution. regards banger35

Hi,

Have a look to make sure that the pump and drain hose are unblocked. If they are, you might have to call Asko and arrange a service call.

Good luck!
