The problem is the LCD panel. It could not be repaired, it called a pixel retaining problem.

try a search for the video driver it's the part that is most likely gone bad. if you look at the board or that part it might have a bad capacitor and could set you back a few bucks.

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. screen problem

I have a tv sony lcd klv32bx300 when turning on works for about 15mins then sfhuting down and blinks 3times the red led on standby signal . Then stop for 2sec and again blinks 3times. I bought this tv in the middle east but we are h ere now in phils. I br ought this problem here in sony service center but the cost to repair this problem is half of the price when i bought. Any one can help to fix this problem

8 blinks in KLV-32S400A shows Audio Error
Check audio voltage supply from power supply board, if OK, replace GP Board (main board)
and if audio volts are not available, check/ replace power supply board.

Just mute the TV and you will get sound out of your headphones. You may have to turn the TV sound up though.
