Toshiba DKT-2010 SD acts only as a speakerphone

I stumbled across this site when I found someone with the same problem that I do: I have 2 Toshiba DKT-2010-SD phones that only work as speakerphones. It appears to be the phone, not the line, because I can move the phone to an extension that works normally and still get the "speakerphone-only" performance. Judging from other message boards that I've seen this seems to be a relatively frequent problem, but nobody has posted a solution. Is there a programming fix?

The Phone has to be replced or sent out for repair. It's a hook switch problem. It's Cheaper to just the phone off Ebay.

I tried looking through the manuals and finally came upon a reference that said the System Administrator Guide was where to look because only that special system was able to do it.

It has the instructions to set the time on page 12

Do not press the conf/transfer key.
press the intercom button first.
Then press the day key or dial ext number.

Hit your main voicemail interrupt greeting by pressing pound enter box 999 enter password usuallu 999 or 999997 but could be anything listen to prompts ti create mail

Trying to change the time on my Toshiba dkt2020-sd phone. I don't know how to do it.

FOR THE TOSHIBA DKT 2020-SD:

From main console phone (lowest extension number i.e. x100) pick up handset

and dial following codes:

For Time: Press "Intercom" and the numbers 652 enter the time in military format HHMMSS (HH=hours in 24hr clock, MM=minutes, SS=seconds) press "Redial".

My husband's office has phones but no manuals

Only works on speakerphone

It sounds like maybe one of the PDKU2 station cards might be bad if you have numerous problems, can you take one of the correctly working phones and plug it in to the phone jack for one of the phones that is not working and see if it works correctly or not. That will help narrow down the problem. Let me know ...Mike

Having trouble with a Toshiba model, Need to fix time .

I have DKT3010, so it might be the same, to change time in mine I press Intercom, #652, HH/MM/SS #. It changes it on all of the extensions.
