I recently asked about my side by side fridge not making ice or dispensing water. It was suggested to change the filter...I did. The water dispenser
works perfectly now and I hear when the water is suppose to be filling
up ice maker but no water enters and no ice is made, although lever goes
up and down. What should I try next?
Check the water valve at the back of fridge. Are you getting water at the dispenser on the door? If so, the water valve may not be bad, but sometimes water will freeze in the tube that fills the icemaker. Pull it out from the back of the fridge and check it.Hope this helps !

take out the crisper drawers and see if the water tank is frozen is the light on the dispencer lighting up when you depress the paddle and look up in the dispencer to see if the acuating paddis broken we will go from there

I have this issue too. Its in the dispenser bin. The auger in the back moves fine, but its not turning up front and spitting out the cubes. Gonna pull it apart and see what is up.

5304433613 is the part number. It now only comes in black. My daughter's unit was clear plastic, so that is why I am stating the available color..
Hello Jim czyryca - From what you are describing if the ice maker is not making ice but is dispensing water, sounds like the refrigerator has a frozen water line, faulty ice maker valve or bad component that sends power to the ice maker valve when needed. The ice maker cycles internally to call for water so I strongly suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately to assist with the repairs.

I have this same problem as well.. I checked out all the ice maker components and they are fine.. tryed using a hair dryer to unfreeze the line coming into the freezer but that did not work.
Ice maker not making ice.
I've placed the filter and the water dischargers from the water spout fine.
We are only getting a few cubes for the whole day.
