I was moving my t.v from one spot to another put t,v on top of my sofa n t.v fell on floor now screen is cracked how can i fix it my t.v is not even a year old i just bought it in may 2011

Sad to say that the panel is the most expensive parts on your TV, it will cost you almost the same as a new set. Since it is less than a year, it is still under warranty period however accidental damaged will not covered by the warranty. I would advice you to contact the dealer where you bought the unit and inquire if they can do something on your problem. Cracked screen is not repairable, the only solution is to replaced it with a new one.

Sorry to be the one to tell you but your tv is nothing more than a paperweight at this point. The panel would need to be replaced part number is 72784162 and I could not find anyone selling it for less than 2000 dollars. Since I know the tv is about 1500 or so on the shelf you are looking at just replacing it.

Probably not, this sounds like a claim on the h o u s e ins but i don't recomend you do it as your premium will go up. If you have insurance that covers accidental damage then you will have to pay the excess. Get a quote first.
