Use a putty knife to push the spring clips in where the top of the front panel meets the washer top, about 2 or 3 inches in from each side. Front panel pulls forward and lifts off pegs, revealing two 1/4 inch drive hex screws holding top to side panels. If your washer has the lid switch near the front, push the tab on the back side toward the center of the switch and push switch up, then twist 90 degrees and pass switch back through the opening. Now lift washer top at the front side. Most washer tops will unhook from the back side now, but some need to be slid an inch to the side yet to remove once the top is lifted a few inches. If you model still has the lid switch near the back of the washer opening, lift the top at the front and unhook the back of the washer top, pull the top forward a few inches and unplug the lid switch disconnect block.
