Pressed the wrong button on the printer the other day and now it's set to photo print when it should say normal print. Doesn't seem to make any difference when printing from the computer, but when doing a photocopy it is so slow as it is obviously doing the photo print and not normal print. Can't see from the manual how to change it back and having messed around with it for several minutes still am unable to get the normal print mode back. How do I do it?
On the MP750 (and MP780...) there are 3 small "buttons" on each side of the screen. On the right side, the lowest button controls the movement from plain to glossy to high resolution to photoprint. So, if you are on one of these settings and want to switch, you press this button. Pressing it only once will affect only the paper size, but pressing the button twice will control the resolution. To move among the options use the arrow buttons (left and right) under the menu...then just push the ok button. It worked for me.
