All of the iPhones have the ability to connect to an external battery, a charger, or any computer with a USB port. You only need a cable. Does your Treo charge from any USB port? And carrying a cable in your bag is no harder than carrying an extra battery.
I don't think you'll ever see a replaceable battery in an iPod or iPhone. It would make the device too big and it would reduce the battery life--that's right, battery life is worse with a removable battery because the battery has to be smaller. However, you can be sure that Apple will continue to push the chip makers for lower power chips

Iphone 5s battery life

My iPhone 5s 64GB battery life is not much better than my 4s 64GB battery life, but considering that the 5s is much much faster than my 4s I guess that's pretty impressive.

Iphone 4 battery

Hi,

If your iPhone battery gets low quick, try disabling features within your iPhone which may help increase battery life.

1. Decrease the screen brightness of your phone.
2. Turn off 3G when not in use ( 3G can decrease the battery life greatly )
3. Turn of Location Services in Settings. ( GPS can decrease bettery life greatly )
4. Turn off bluetooth.
5. Charge your iPhone up to 80% everytime and then stop charging. ( Studies show that charging up to 80% everytime can help increase the life span of your iPhone battery )

What is the differeance between iphone g3 to phone gs3?

the main difference between the iphone 3g and iphone 3gs is the speed. but here are the specifications for both phones
weight: the 3gs is slightly heavier at 135g memory: iphone 3g only has two options an 8gb or a 16gb whereas for the iphone 3gs it has 8gb/16gb/32gb camera: the iphone 3g has 2mp camera that can only take pictures while the ihpne 3gs has a 3.15mp camera that can also capture videos cpu/processor: iphone 3g has ARM 11 412 MHz, PowerVR MBX-Lite graphics while the iphone 3gs has 600 MHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, PowerVR SGX535 GPU. So the 3gs is faster and it means less or no lag on apps
the 3gs has a digital compass
and the 3gs has a longer battery time than the 3g.
to summaarize, the iphone 3gs is faster, has longer battery life, and has a bigger memory (as it comes with a 32gb version).

When using Navman in my vehicle on the iphone I have the iphone plugged into the vehicle phone charger. After about 50 minutes use runs the iphone battery completely flat and takes about 2 hours to...

that's because your using GPS signal that is constantly resetting itself and it uses battery life to do so, GPS uses more energy than anything else the iphone will do. If your still within hardware warranty call Apple and they might help you with it

IPhone 3G battery problem

My battery on my iphone used to only last a day when limiting my use. And when I tried to use it normally with all the apps and music and calling people it only went for 10mins and then turned off.

How I fixed this:
It's an ongoing solution. I charged it up until it said 100%, then used it all up until it shut down again. And then I charged it til 100% and then depleted it again. Repeat over 2 weeks and your battery life should get back to normal. It worked for me and now my iPhone works better than ever!

IPhone vs. iPhone 3G

The iPhone 3G has all the features of the first one,
plus faster 3G data downloads,
GPS, and a better battery life.
Externally, the phone's casing is slightly changed, with a thinner edge and thicker middle, but a flush headphone jack and solid-colored back make up the only other major differences visually. Everything else from the screen to the number of buttons and switches on the outside are the same.
