If the fuse blows again after replacing it, there's a shorted diode, bridge rectifier, capacitor or transistor in the power supply.
I repair these power supplies. If you need furhter assistance, write to [email protected]

If you get no standby light or error blinks, the power supply board is bad. Most likely the power surge will take out some capacitors on the power supply. Replace the power supply board to solve the problem. This is a common failure caused by a power surge.
Note: If you are looking to do it the cheap way, you could try looking for bad capacitors (visually inspect for ones that look "bubbly") and replacing just those but it is not guaranteed to fix the TV as the power supply could have other issues and just cause the capacitors to bubble again.

You should try looking for new power supply module. It may be cheaper that trying to have it fixed. Do you have any pictures. Hope fully the surge did damage the controller board.
