This FE-340 Olympus is a great camera. Lots of features and usually great results
Indoor pictures with flash set on auto WB (white balance) should not be a problem
Indoor pictures without flash requires setting the WB to match the light source in the room (incandescent, florescent etc) Outdoor pictures WB on auto generally not a problem

first lets try to isolate if its a camera setting issue, try initializing the camera back to factory setting (home>settings>main settings>main settings 1>initialize). the camera should return back to its default settings.color mode should revert back to normal. if images appear washed out in the sun, try to minimize this by using the lens hood. if it doesnt help try adjusting the EV (exposure value). if still it doesnt work, possible underlying hardware issue, cam may need repair. but hope this helps.tnx:)
Reset the colors setting back to factory original setting.Should have all colors back to original. Not than ur main tuner signal board is dead, must replaced.
hi try to reset ur camera...To do such reset, turn on the camera and hold
the menu button down for longer than 5 seconds. A message should
hopefully come up on your LCD asking if you want to reset the camera.
Select Yes...
I had to say this, but I am on my 3rd LCD monitors,
One shook like what you are saying, the other had colored streaks.
They will take them back, most of the time... sorry
The Olympus D-340R is an updated model of the D-340L (which is no longer in production). They both have an SQ, HQ, and SHQ image quality setting, however, the D-340R has the additional ability to store an image file uncompressed in TIFF format. The D-340R also has the ability to magnify a portion of the image on the camera monitor LCD so that you can inspect the detail level of the picture.
The D-340R includes a total of 8 MB of SmartMedia memory (either 2 - 4 meg or 1 - 8 meg card depending on the package) whereas the D-340L includes 4 meg. The LCD monitor is slightly smaller on the D-340R (1.8" versus 2.0"). The ISO rating is also slightly different (ISO 100/200 versus ISO 60/120) which allows a broader range of picture taking situations.
