Hi

The handlebar for Quinny Buzz is not a spare part we can send out as it is a Level 3 repair which means our engineers must carry out replacement. This is due to safety implications of it being incorrectly fitted.

Please visit www.quinny.com and select the country you're in, then click "Contact Us" tab on right side of screen for your enquiry to be sent to customer care team in your country for further assistance.

SOURCE: Main frame and worn wheels of the quinny buzz

This happened to my wife the other day, I found that the main pivot bolt had pulled through the plastic pivot/collapse assembly. This part is rivoted to the frame so without drilling it out and replacing with an ugly nut and bolt you will have to source a new frame. I got mine from Ebay, I found someone selling lots of quinny buzz bits and asked if he still has the frame he said yes but the handle bar no longer extends (Hence im on here looking how to swap the two), Problem solved!

I also found out from Quinny that the Buzz has a 2 year manufacturers warranty, where Motercare insisted it was 1 year, so dont let them fob you off.
Hope this helps
Chris.

SOURCE: does the quinny buzz seat 2006 and carrycot fit the 2008/9 frame

Hi new frame should be ok, the only frame that is different is the older 2005 frame, if you remove your seat unit and check the posts on your seat unit (the bits that slot onto the buzz chassis) if they are both the same and have rounded ends then this is the older model and wont fit the newer frames, but if one of the posts is rounded and the other is shaped like a turret then all the frames 2006 onwards will be ok. :)

The release botton on the handle broke can it be fix?

Hi

It depends on the age of the Quinny Buzz you have. On the underside of the chassis U bar you will find a manufacturing sticker which shows date of manufacture. Once you have this please visit www.quinny.com and select the country you're in, then choose the "Contact Us" tab and send your enquiry, including manufacturing details, through to the customer care team relevant to your country who will be able to advise on whether it can be repaired / how much that would be.

The frame holding the handle has broken on my quinny buzz can i get a replacement

You will need to get in touch with Dorel UK, they will replace the frame and give it a full service at the same time. You will need to send the stripped down frame to them via courier. If you can, ask a local Quinny supplier if they can send it back on your behalf. John Lewis did it for us.

You will need to speak with Dorel UK 01842 763 281 (Mon ? Fri, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm) are the sole supplier of parts for Quinny. They can probably send you the piece you need or repair it for you. However, the latter option will need you to send your buggy to them at your cost.

Quinny buzz handle won't extend and frame has started to collapse unexpectedly while baby in push chair

Sounds like the handle bar extender mechanism has broken internally and the Gas strut is faulty. This happened to mine. Both parts are readily available from Dorel UK 01842 763 281 (Mon – Fri, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm). They are the sole supplier of parts for Quinny. However, the Gas Strut is a pressurised mechanism and has to be replaced by Dorel. You will need to speak with them and arrange for the frame of the buggy to be sent to them (at your cost if out of warranty) and they will replace whatever parts you need plus do a full service.
