SOURCE: hi i have a vision

Typically an E6 error message indicates that the machine needs to be recalibrated because the elevation motor is out of range or that you have a loose cable connection. Below are the auto calibration instructions. Please make sure that no one is on the machine because it will speed up quickly.

STEP 1 ENTER ENGINEERING MODE

With the safety key in place, hold "ELEVATION UP" and "SPEED

DOWN" buttons for 5 seconds. Software version will appear in display

window for a few seconds before model displays.

Press "STOP" , "ENG1" will appear in display window.

STEP 2 AUTO-CALIBRATE

Press "ELEVATION UP" until "ENG4" is displayed.

Press "SELECT" , display will read "AUTO".

Press "START". Unit will calibrate, when finished "END" appears in

display window, then "ENG1".

STEP 3 EXIT ENGINEERING
Press and hold "STOP" to exit engineering mode

I would also suggest that, with the power to the machine off, you check all of the wire connections underneath the motor cover, the assembly connection that sits where the mast meets the console and underneath the faceplate. Check to be sure that all of the connections are secure and that the pins within the cables are seated properly.

SOURCE: My Vision Fitness treadmill reads E6 when I turn

This just means that the elevation is out of range. It probably lost its signal when you moved it. The way to fix this is to recalibrate it. You can do an auto recalibration.

E6 error message

It appears that your elevation system is where the fault lies. This could be as simple as recalibrating the lift mechanism, or possibly correcting faulty wiring from the lower controller to the lift motor. Be sure to check the condition of the lift motor as well as the wires entering the lift motor. Sometimes the wires will pull away from the plastic connector causing a lift motor error

What is error code e4 on vision fitness t9350?

I have an HRT9450 that is showing an E4 error code - but when I run the auto calibration it doesn't seem to finish.

It runs up the speeds and back down but then stops without ever showing 'end'.

When i then take the safety key off and replace it the E4 error code shows again.

The treadmill was working fine until I moved it a foot and then the error code shows - meaning I'm suspecting a lose cable but I don't know where to start looking for it.

Any advice?

I turned on my treadmill after a long hiatus :) and got an error message and a beep. The errors were E4, E9 and a few others. It is a Vision Fitness T9400HRT model. Any idea how to fix?

E4: Solution 1. Check power to the treadmill, as insufficient voltage to the treadmill can cause this error to reoccur. Check the power socket that the tread is plugged into. Eliminate any extension cords or surge protectors (plug the tread directly into a functional power source). Make sure the circuit is not overloaded. Make sure the circuit is NON-GFI. 2. Calibrate (See engineering mode for specific treadmill). 3. If calibrations do not hold, replace upper console. Note: Usually simultaneous with an E6. E6: Solution 1. Check the elevation plug connection at the lower board. 2. Check ALL large data cable connection at the lower and upper boards. 3. Calibrate (See engineering mode for specific treadmill) 4. Test/change large data cable (use large data cable information provided in the data cable portion of this Guide). 5. Replace elevation motor E7/E9: Solution 1. Certain lower boards have an LED that flashes when the magnet on the roller passes the sensor. Adjust sensor position if LED does not flash. See lower board basic troubleshooting for lower boards with the LED. 2. Unplug RPM sensor at the lower board. Check continuity. Treadmill will operate without sensor but cannot Autocalibrate. Calibrate manually. 3. Replace RPM sensor TREADMILL.TROUBLESHOOTING. AUTO CALIBRATION STEP 1 ENTER ENGINEERING MODE • With the SAFETY KEY in place, hold the “ELEVATION UP” and “SPEED DOWN” buttons for 5 seconds. “DGA3” will appear in the profile window and “EHG1” will appear in the function window. • You are now in ENGINEERING MODE STEP 2 ENTER AUTO CALIBRATIONS • Press the “ELEVATION UP” or “SPEED UP” to “EHG4”. • Press “SELECT”. STEP 3 • Press “START”. The treadmill will calibrate itself. This will take about 3 to 5 minutes. When AUTO is complete, “END” will appear in the window. Wait 10 to 15 seconds and the treadmill will reset itself to “P1”. STEP 4 • Press “START” to test the treadmill
