Dryer will work through the cycle of drying clothes. After a few minutes with or without clothes in the dryer it will turn on an start beeping. You can press the cancel button and it will turn off. However a few minutes later it is back on beeping agin flashing a dry time of 56 or 36. It also just started to not turn on sometimes, but after unplugging the dryer it will work. Also it flashes clean the lint screen and it is clean. Is this a control panel circut board problem? Is this worth repairing or is it better to go out and buy an inexpensive dryer for 300 to 400 dollars?

dryers keeps beeping and flashing 36 minutes, it does this on its own even when it has not been in use for days. The only override seems to be to unplug once the cycle starts again it will finish then start beeping and flashing 36 minutes again.
