Software switch to detect adf is set to not detected ` not sure off the top of my
head but I think 1-4 if set to 0 make it a 1 or vise versa

On the end of the image unit you will find a white bit of plastic with a small screw in the middle, make sure this screw is tight and then reinstall the units(give the units a bit of a shake too)

First check the alignment front and rear of the finisher, check the finisher exit guide rollers if the paper is exiting properly, open both rear and the front cover and check the lower gears attach is the up/down drive belt. that lower gear one might be broken by the pin slot.
