you should recalibt=rate the printer.
Are you sure that your previous label was not longer?
With the autocalibrate function activated the printer should try to detect the correct length. If it doesn't the yoou have
- A problem with the label border
- Preprinted stuff which the printer detects as to fo feed
We must establish whether the problem is a moving label or just that the labels are not aligned properly. Is hte printing split across the two labels consistant regardless of hte number of labels printed? If so, then the lables are not aligned properly. The user manual has the procedure for aligning these. This is part of the setup procedure.
If hte first line of the labels changes position on subsequent printings, then either the label size is not defined properly or the format being used is not correct. I don't have the manual handy at the moment so I can't give you the particulars, but if you could update this and tell me which of the 2 conditions you are experiencing, I will look up the specifics in the morning.
Check the label size is set correctly in the application. Try using a driver from Nice Label or Seagull Scientific websites to suit Z4M (Not Z4M Plus). Recalibrate the printer and try again. Remember to setup the driver correctly because the driver will override the printer settings.
Firstly make sure your using the correct drive ZM400 rather than Z4M. if you are using the applications driver make sure of headers and footers sizes and the print area is set correctly. If your using odd sized lables download some new drivers from the Nice Label website, they are far more adjustable that the standard Zebra drivers.
The printer is Z4M or Z4M plus? I found this error at z4m plus and the solution is to change the motherboard.
