I bypassed the parking break on my DUAL In-Dash DVD player but when i hook my PS2 up to the audio/video in put the video works but the audio doesn't

That is because it has a safety on it to where you can only watch videos when in park. It doesnt want you watching movies while driving. Easy to bypass if you know what your doing. There is probably a wire on the back of the stereo that is in a bundle that you did not use? It should be relatively long. Maybe add a bit of length to it with some more wire and hook it to the ground on your battery if that doesnt work put it on the positive. Sorry i remember doing this in my camaro dont remember if its pos or neg but you are suppose to hook that wire to somthing on the parking break. Hooking it straight to the battery will bypass the parking break safety.

it's normally hooked up to the parking break being put on or a switch on the gear selector switch once out of gear it shut off the player. if you can't find it local stero shop would be able to help

No you can not hook up a ps2 to the dual. It hads audio inputs but no video inputs

Boss Audio is the easiest in-dash DVD on the market to bypass; all you do is ground the ebrake wire. I recently installed 12 Boss Audio in-dash BV-7300's and did this to all of the decks problem solved. By the way I did this because they were in the back of limousines where the driver couldn't ever even see one of them while he was driving. I don't think there will be a problem, try it.

Usually the wire should be grounded. Connect the wire to a ground point via a switch (is illegal to watch TV/DVD while you're driving)

get a toggle switch hook to a ground then to the e-brake wire flip on and off 3 times 4th time leave on worked for me

Hook up your brake wire through a manual switch and switch on and off every time you turn your key on and off. Goodluck.

based on safety concerns. the DVD won't work if brakes are not engaged. The sensor for the enabled/activated brakes is the yellow/blue wire.

To bypass this model would mean grounding the brake wire would allow DVD playback. There is a little trick to make it work. It should start first as +12 before it should be grounded before the DVD will play hence a DPST switch would be required, not only grounding.

Additionally and a friendly reminder, in some regions, it is not allowed to view a DVD movie while vehicle is in motion.

all you have to do for you to be able to play video while driving is... take the yellow wire with blue strip and wrap it with your ground wire and connect the ground wire to a GOOD chasie ground

This wire goes to the "Hot" side of the parking break switch... When the Parking Break is put on, a switch is closed, thus putting an "Earth" on this wire.. Ya can often bypass this by connecting to earth. Sometimes this wire can be "Hot" +12v so B4 doing anything with unit "On" check this wire for any Voltage.
