Go to http://www.makitatools.com/en-us/Modules/Home/Default.aspx, put your model number in search box in the top right. Two models of the HM1500 will come up, select yours and open the owner's manual. Find the paragraph labeled 'Lubrication' and follow it precicely. Demo hammers are very picky about what type of grease they use and how much. Too thick and they won't work, too thin and they won't lubricate properly and the parts inside are very expensive to replace. Same applies to how much to use.
181490-7 are 2 tubes with a 30 grms of a black graphite liked grease its different in thickness absolutely not the same like the sinc-free hydraulic oil for some other demolition hammers like the Turmopol oil what is used in Hilti its not real hydrolic oil , the use of normal perlus hydraulic oil is not direct wrong because the most important thing is to release temperature of the machine and hydraulic oil has enough pcb's and dopes to do that but there are other components that is not good to lubricate with oil like the bearings inside the machine look here its not realy the same numbers maybe but here you will see the parts for revision 193403-6 its the complete revision kit number for a service for the HM1500 complete with fat (grease lubricant) NOT OIL !!!

you have to use an ohmmeter to check it, you must check the continuity of motor coil after the switch terminal if in this point you have the reading less than 200 ohms, try checking it before the switch but this time you have to switch it on. If you have the readings continue to check it from the Power Plug. Most cases the problem is only in Power cord .

Look around there for some O rings we have had this same problem with some of our Bosch hammer drills, and they usually replace a set of seals around the nose of the tool
SOURCE: Hello - I have a Hitachi Demolition Hammer PH-66A.
Hitachi sells a pneumatic oil for use in its air power tools. Your local Hitachi dealer, or any pneumatic dealer will sell the oil. The brand is not as important as using a few drops directly into the air fitting when starting a day of work. If used heavily, oil it again mid way through the working day.

demolition hammers require hydraulic oil in most cases.
Any good tool shop should have hydraulic oil to suit.
