you are going to have to drill the inside pin out. be sure to center punch and drill a pilot hole. hope this helps

If you have loosened the handle a little and pulling the adjustment trigger didn't allow for movement, you may need to remove and clean the turn table.(don't forget, the handle must be loosened for the turn table to rotate)
Please rate this a fixya

I"ve never had to replace one, but here's an exploded parts diagram that shows it has an o-ring on it. I'm guessing its a friction fit and maybe you can just knock it out with a punch or drift, or maybe twist it out with a pair of vise grips...but I don't have the saw in front of me, and can't remember if the back side of the pin is accessible.
Anyway, FWIW, see here.
I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

Did you sense an odd smell? Try removing the brushes, there should be two, it could be one is worn too short or the connecting wire is broken.

you need to remove the guide fence with the screws on the back. then you remove the throat plate and there is the bolt is that keeps it all together.
Just took one apart last week, not really difficult

You do not have to drill anything out, if you are talking about the hold-down locking pin that keeps the blade assy locked down when not in use. I have created a tutorial for replacing the locking pin, you can find it here,http://mgfic.com/dewalt708_lockingpin.ht...
