I am pretty 100 percent sure that Michele CSX 36 diamonds only comes with a swiss quartz movement not an automatic movement.
So the problem seems to be that the battery is dying and need to be replaced. Stopping and going is usually a sign of a battery dying in a swiss quartz movement.
So it should be nothing major and just a battery.

Thank you for your comment. I appreciate it. I really hope it is only the battery. I was told by people that it is automatic winding. In the booklet it states that as well in the beginning. Does that just mean you don't wind it but it still would have battery? It mentions one model that has automatic winding the ETA 2894-2. When I called Michele customer service and stated my problem she didn't mention battery just to send it in. Who knows...she wasn't very helpful. Anyway, everyone gave me the impression that it did not have battery but went by wrist movement. It is so weird because it keeps perfect time but sure enough at 11:20 pm every night it stops. Once I set to correct time it is fine..but only after midnight. If I correct it at 11: 30 or so it does not move. Very weird. I hope it is only a battery. Thank you. What ones are without battery? Do you happen to know?
Like I stated I know off no Michele CSX 36 that comes with an automatic movement. I believe the watch comes with an eta-251 chronograph movment not the eta-2894-2. The eta-2894-2 is a big movement and is in watches like Omega Seamaster and are usually in Mens watch like the

I am 100 percent sure that you have the quartz movement not the automatic like you believe.
oh you know if its not the battery here is something you can check. Pull the crown out all the way. and look at the hands of the watch. spinning the hands around and see if they get stuck on each other around anytime. Sometimes if you bump your wrist or drop your watch the hands will move off the staff a little and bump into each other and just need to be readjusted. If you look carefully at the hands you will be able to see them touching either front or back . that fix can be done by any watchmaker repair place. Cost probably around 15 dollars.

SOURCE: I just bought my wife a michele csx-36 watch. Its brand
that happened to me too...the watch repair man told me that I had the stop watch on. The stop watch should serve as a stop watch, not the second hand. The second time on your watch is the small dial at the bottom middle of the face. Once I turned off the stop watch feature, my battery life is fine...I have not had to change my battery in over 2 years now. HOpe this helps.

I also chipped the enamel on the crown. You should take it to the place you purchased it and they will send it to Michele (actually Fossil) for repair. I had my Michele for 5 years before sending it in to have the crown repaired and have since lost the stem. Prior to that first repair, I did not have any issues with my watch. I really think that the parts used on my watch for the first repair were shotty. Very disappointing, but what do you do?
SOURCE: Had the battery replaced in
Loose cannon pinion or cannon driving wheel; the seconds hand represents the wheels in the back of the watch going around ok, but the power need to transfer through to the front of the watch somehow.
This is done by snapping/clicking two wheels together on either side of the main plate. The one on the dial side (cannon pinion) needs to slip to be able to set the time as the minute hand is set on this pinion. Im sorry, its time to see a repair guy.
Hope helps.

You don't say if your "CSX" is a battery powered watch or a mechanical or windup type watch. The solution for a mechanical watch is take it to a watchmaker. If it is a battery powered watch you may be able to do it yourself. Not all work the same way so without knowing what a "CSX" is I will give you one way to try. Pull the crown out two clicksHold the lower button in until a hand moves. You have now selected that hand to adjustUsing the upper button now, press and adjust the hand until it lines up with 12Now hold the lower button againAnother hand should moveUse the upper button to adjust this hand to the 12 positioncontinue this until all the hands line up with 12Press the crown in and press the upper button, the chronograph hands should startPress the upper button again and they should startPress the lower button and they should all go to the 12 o'clock position
