My Samsung LCD TV 40 in is only 3 weeks old but has developed a vertical red/pink line on the right side of the screen
Had this same issue on right side of 52" about 1 inch from side but had 3 vertical lines that disappeared after 40 minutes. Have Samsung LNT5265FX/XXA and about 16 months old. LCD Panel itself had to be replaced to fix it, fortunately had extended service plan
No solution here.
I have the same issue... A vertical magenta line, about 2 pixels wide, appeared about 1" from the left side of my 52" LNT5265FX/XXA. Of course, this appeared after the 1 year warranty... For me it started showing up about 22 months from purchase date. It goes away when the TV warms up after about 30 minutes or so. Sucks that such an expensive product has developed this issue w/in 2 years.
I bought one yesterday and already has a vertical pink line on the right hand side
Use your warranty is the best thing to do , because there is already a problem!

I also have the same problem. Samsung 40 in LCD TV has just developed a vertical red line about 1 pixel wide and 14cm in from the right hand side of the screen. Bought the TV about 3 weeks ago too. Dealer's helpline suggested it's a problem with the panel. Awaiting an engineer visit.
I have the same problem with Samsung 32" LCD TV of Series 4, purchased 17 days ago and used sparingly. Reported to helpline. awaiting for Sr. Service Engineer to come.
I have the same vetical red/pink line on the right side of my Samsung 52 inch LCD TV. Sometimes the line turns yellow; sometimes it goes away completely. But it's back now. I had the TV for about one year before it happened.
