Back switches cleaning should do the job, if the two green lights show up at amp's front plate.

SOURCE: i have Peavey Pv 2600

One side of the amp has failed and repair is NOT DIY. Take it in for servicing. This amp has many components in the power amp and repair is complicated. A failure can lead to 20 components being damaged. Failure to replace all damaged ones can result in immediate failure destroying the replaced ones.

SOURCE: i just bought a used valveking 100 half stack and

Same thing... they probably broke both jacks. Sometimes the guts of the jack is broken and it doesn't appear to be broken but is broken internally. You may find broken solder on the pins to these jacks as well.

Note that the two input jacks have a different gain.

My A channel on my PV 2600 power amp shut down so i'm trying see if anyone have any in stock I await your respond

I know this is an old thread but it might help someone looking for info r.e. blowing fuses. Fixing peavey m-2600 I just found a crazy fault underneath the main circuit board one of the screws that hold the rubber feet on was shorting the board to ground. They are very sharp self tappers and it looks like instead of Peavey bothering using a more suitable screw they just stuck a little rubber pad over the point of the screw that screw had pierced shorting to a track underneath board. Swines it took me ages to find.

My peavey amp pv 2600 only plays on channel A. No output on the B side

Hello,

Check the "BRIDGE" switch position, "IN" for "BRIDGE", "OUT" for "STEREO", and clean ALL back switches with a cleaning spray and then run the amp again, also check the two green lights activation at front, if they activate, then amp is certainly working, let me know further.

No output channel B from peavey pv2600

Make sure the Stereo/Bridge switch is out on the back of the amp. If bridged channel 2 will be disabled.

When in use channel b is crackling is this repairable

Yes it is repairable by competent electronic technician.

The problem MAY be very simple or hard to locate. It may be a poor solder joint. Check if vibration of the unit causes the noise.

The DDT light on one channel stays on,but I can't find a reason why? What can I do?

Disconnect the speaker wiring and speaker on the bad channel. Turn the level control(s) all the way counterclockwise and turn the amp on. If your DDT (limiting) light remains lit, it's time for a visit to your nearest certified Peavey service center....G.

No output on the right side of the peavey 2600 amplifier but the right is ok

Each channel is protected separately. I suspect that the outputs are fried on the right side or the output fuse has blown. This should be checked by a service shop.

Peavey sound board 2 channels not working

check for cold solder joints from the input jacks and the fader. If any look suspicious (dull or grainy) re-solder.
