Kyocera FS-1920 error message: "call service 6400:0295998"

The call service 2000 is about the main motor. Pull the Developer Unit and then the drum unit out of the printer and check if the gears on both units are moving freely. Then turn the printer on without the 2 units and see if the motor is functioning. If your the motor moving then the message displays on printer will be 7410 (because you have the drum unit outside). There is a possibility that the transfer roller is damaged.

Try installing the developer unit.

i've been working on kyocera's for about 4 years. now..this error is not good..it's a general system failure..only solution is replacing main board.

do you have access to a Compact Flash Card & a Card Reader / Writer?

or is the printer connected via Parallel?

the printer will require a need new fuser unit or a new power supply.

Make sure that your paper sizes match in the control panel of the printer in Windows. It will not only cause the duplex not to work but could cause jamming problems as well. When printing in duplex mode, make sure it is turned on.

check the paper size dial on the left inside of cassette draw.
