Cds wont eject or play. There are 6 cds in holder. How can I get them released or out or system to work. There are no obvious screws on front plate of dash which would indicate easy removal. garage doesnt want to know and car is just out of warrranty. I would be most grateful if you could help me. I had this same problem with Bose CD player in my 2001 Pathfinder. The dealer said it had to be replaced to the tune of $275. I did get the CDs back, but they had to go in with the unit. Now it seems as though it might be starting again. The problem started last time by not playing a CD, and then automatically changing to the next CD. I had that same problem this morning, so I'm worried I will have to replace the CD changer AGAIN!
I have an Infiniti 6 disc changer and #3 was stuck. With the key turned to accessory, slide an old disc halfway in the slot under the stuck disc and keep pressing the eject button. You may need to lift the old disc up and down. It took the unit about 15 seconds to release the original disc. Good luck!
I talked Best Buy into just popping out my Mazda Protege 6-CD changer, not doing any work on it. Then I took it home and and unscrewed and removed the top panel, which revealed the CDs inside. Using a putty knife through the entry slot and a crochet hook down through the top of the player, I lifted up each CD, one by one, and slid each one back out the front of the player.

Try holding the cd eject button and it might say eject all. if this happens then try giving the top of the cd player a good bashing and then the cd player may pop out. sorry if this does not help it worked for my 6cd player

Bose 6 disc CD changer in an Infinity vehicle. CD changer was switching discs and got 'stuck'. Each time the car is turned on the the cd changer sounds like it is switching discs but it remains unusable. It will not eject discs either.
Any ideas?

I have a 2005 Infinity QX56 and the 6-disc changer suddenly stopped responding to the load, eject, and cd button. Nothing will play and all 6 cd's are inside the changer and I can't get them out. The dealership wants almost $600 to replace it and none of the best buy, circuit city type stores will touch it because it's factory. Any suggestions?

2006 Mazda 3 with Bose in-dash 6-disc player that got jammed. I can hear the motor trying to switch discs every time I start the car, but it will not play/eject/etc. Says "Check CD".
