WTV74307GB hi i have bosch exxcel dry, and i keep getting the filter light coming on, i have cleaned the filter and replaced it, but the dry stop again after some time., can you help I have exactly the same problem - the dryer has never worked properly since its delivery 2 weeks ago - I have tried everything which might be the cause and nothing has worked. It dries for about 15 minutes, then the display shows ---- and the filter light blinks. The filter is as good as empty though. I get my washing dry by running downstairs every 20 minutes to switch the dryer back on. I am extremely frustrated.

yes the bottom filter can be removed and washed out with warm water, this is the same problem we had

Bosch Axxis Starts and stops

The lint light keeps coming on and shuts the dryer off so clothes are not dry. I checked the filter and it is clear. Now the bottom of filter is cracked (plastic part) so I need to replace. But why does the lint light come on now after 5 years of use? It never came on before even when the lint filter was full?

The water valve could be bad. Depending on how old the dish washer is there was some prolems with the older water valves. the water vavle is the most common problem with the bosch dishwashers when water will not come in.

take the lint screen out and clean it with a toothbrush and warm soapy water. You may be using too much softner. If that doesnt work, the control board may be bad.

The warning does not strictly mean filter only
there is a lint blockage somewhere in the vent system and there is only a single response the dryer knows to make
fan
fan housing
duct
outside vent
could all be sufficiently blocked to set off the warning
