I have a 650 bottom freezer sub zero, it keeps shutting itself off, no lights or anything. sometimes it will turn itself back on, but usually i have to turn it back on by either the inside switch or re-plugging it in. Last night it turned itself off for the night and everything in the freezer melted

SOURCE: freezer stuck on -20 degrees

well it depends on how long the door was open for during the cleaning, your evap coil was unable to cool the unit due to the warm air coming in, that will cause the evap coil to over frez . un-plugging the unit may work but the best thing to do is force it into a defrost you can do that by pressing and holding the ice key on the key pad for 10 sec or till you hear the freezer shut down this will thaw the ice on the coil and the unit with come back on within 20 to 30 Min's

Check for a fan motor in between the freezer and the fridge. Or you have a block of frost in there shutting off air flow.

We have our Sub Zero model 650 frig set to 35 degrees, our usual temp, but suddenly it won't get lower than 50. Freezer seems fine.
