As for the error code you are getting, "error 45" is a lens related problem of LS443.

If the lens is not stuck, you may try to download the firmware from the Kodak site and update the one in your camera.

As the lens is already stuck, there is no choice except to send the camera back to Kodak for servicing.

That is a lens error. Your warranty will not cover if you get an unauthorised KODAK TECH to repair this fault.

E45 means it has a lens error., the gear of the lens is already defective you need to call precision camera for repair toll free 1 800 665 6515

please remove the memory card.. and re - insert again.. if the error goes not goes.. memory card may be corrupted..

I have heard of people who have just whacked theirs against their hand a few times and it starts working again, nothing to lose really, if it is really broken and this doesnt work, repairs are more than a new camera
