SOURCE: how to get the date stamp off pictures: panasonic

http://www.retrevo.com/search/v2/jsp/mytrevo/myTrevo.jsp?page=man
Download and consult this manual for it ...There are more than one features that allow you to add information to a picture..and than if you choose to stamp on it the info ..The usual procedure is desribed from the page 103 in the manual ..and in short ..you have to get the camera in view picture mode..than choose text stamp ..and in the options you can select what info to stamp ..location .date ..time ..age ..name ..
or choose to stamp all ..and select a larger folder..
The info can be selected ...so that only the time and date or ...so will be stamped.. I suggest to read all teh info about this ..cause there are available other settings ..for baby shooting ...where the birthday is inserted and it probably keep track of the age and settings related with it and teh light usage ..and others..including stamping photos with the age after being taken ..

Lumix DMC-TZ5 - Adding Time and Date stamp to photos

  • Make sure you have set the date and time correctly on your camera.
  • View the picture you want to Time stamp, by changing left hand slider to green icon.
  • Press the circular 'Menu/Set' button
  • Press down arrow to get to playback mode in the onscreen menu.
  • Press right arrow to access this menu.
  • Press down arrow until 'text stamp' is highlighted.
  • Press right arrow to select.
  • Choose whether to apply stamp to single or multiple photos
  • Press 'Menu/set' to select photo to stamp.
  • Choose which stamps to add. Date, time, age etc..
  • Press 'Menu/set' again and select the 'Yes' box.

The only problem with this is that it will re-size your photos to about 3m, which can make them grainier if you took them at a higher resolution. Unfortunately there is no other way to time stamp your photos on this camera.

How do i get the date stamped on the pictures from my panasonic lumix dmc-fz7

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

DMC-FH2 not recognized in XP

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX520 and the date stamp wont appear on printed photos. The date shows when I take the photo, how do I get the datestamp to show up afterwards

Normally in the menu settings the options are entered so as to stamp the date in. So open menu settings and check on clock and date settings. check for links to date stamping in the menu and activate.

How to show time and date stamp on my photos using

May not be a way to do it. Personally, I think it is a poor thing to do. When you put the time & date on a picture this way, it cannot be easily removed. Since the EXIF data has this and much more information, you can always add it later.
