Hp compaq dc5800 small form factor boot problem, loops

It's showing the Screen to boot in safe mode and loops back to the same screen.

there is no way it depends on ur processor if it is getting hot it might have to stay high to cool it

The RAM maybe faulty, try reseating the RAM, if that doesn't work try one RAM modulel at a time.
Try testing the RAM in another computer or take it to your friendly computer shop.

That "PCI Serial Port" is probably part of a PCI modem that is connected into a PCI slot on the motherboard.

Access the manufacturer's web-site: http://support.hp.com
and enter 'dc7700p' and do a search for device-drivers for your computer.
Download the device-driver. Install it.

You would need to look at the BIOS manufacturers site for the beep code and it's meaning. You can also pull all the hardware out, memory HDD, CD/DVD and boot if you no longer get the error, power down and add one component back and boot. Repeat until you get the beep code again and you will know what the problem part is.

boot into safe mode and run CMD.exe and type in CHKDSK and run that program to fix any errors. If there still is a problem. Grab the CD in your computer came with and install it. What I mean by that, is insert a disk into CD-ROM drive. Before turning off computer. Turning on computer and booting from CD to fix any errors. If that doesn't work reinstall Windows. Compaq notebook won't boot up
Hi

When you boot the computer back up go into Safe Mode and check to see if you can roll the computer back to the point before you installed the software.

If so this should work. If it works then run a virus scan, a defrag of the hard drive and cleans the temp files.

OR

You can do a diagnostic startup and uninstall Onecare. So once that it is uninstall ed it should be smooth sailing.

Here is a link for some startup / diagnostic software you could try after booting.

Desktop won't complete boot
Open up the desktop and replace your CMOS battery, or atleast test it and see if the re-booting stops. If not and you have your XP installation disc you may have to do a system repair, start your pc with disc in and press enter when prompted, but make sure that your cd drive is set up as first boot in the bios.
