Hi, I have a problem about my washer, I hope someone may help me out. When I start the washer, it fills the water and washes for about 2 minutes then it starts to fill water again without stopping! Even I after I turn off the power and turn it on again, it won't start a new cycle and keeps filling water. Can I fix this problem ? Thanks
Insider tip, when you follwo the directions take has posted. remove the hose from the switch only. then turn the switch to the lowest setting then reconnect the hose. this will allow the unit to reset to proper levels. do not try to adjust the switch or the tub will overflow. if this hasnt resolved the issue. you may need to replace the switch which is what may be the original problem. simple access to the switch. there is a lock tab on side of the switch press it and unscrew the whole switch 1/2 turn(unplug wire harness) it will now pull out (remove thumbturn on outside first of course) then install and reverse the process for install, please mark how it will go back in cause you can reinstall it in the wrong position. also note you will have to unplug the wire harness gl k
Check the solenoid valves. if machine is off and water still coming.try disconect the machine and blow the air by mouth to the hose while machine off if air gos throw valve is defective and need replacement if no air go throw its ok.
Check the drain hose and make sure it comes to the top of tub height . You also may have the drain hooked to a sealed drain , If you do the machine will siphon all the water out , thus you will need a siphon kit installed . This is something any handyman could do if you get the kit from a dealer.
Low water pressure will cause machine to fill even when off as the valve works on incoming pressure
Yes you can and is easy, disconect the machine from the ac outlet, open the top to acces to the water level switch, check the thin hose atach to it, if its broken fix the hose or chage for a new one and thats is, if not, change the water level switch and you gat it..good luck
Hi friend, thanks for your post!
I see that your Frigidaire washer is not washing or spinning but everything else is working properly. I would advise you to check over the drain hose, make sure it is not restricted or too far down the drain pipe. If that checks out it could be a possible problem with your motor or control panel. One of those components could need to be replaced and for proper replacement I would recommend assistance from a technician to have a proper diagnosis completed. I hope this is helpful. -Matt
Hi
If the washer won't fill you'll need to check for the water
inlet hose, the water inlet valve and the pressure/water level switch assembly.
Inspect the inlet hose coming to the washer for any blockages. If the hose is
not clogged then check the water inlet valve for any clogs, if the water will
not even fill for few seconds then certainly the water inlet valve is bad and
should be replaced. You can also use a multimeter to check continuity on inlet
valve. If you don't get any value on the multimeter then you'll need to replace
the water inlet valve assembly. However, if the valve is fine then the
pressure/water level switch assembly should be replaced. Hope this helps...
Please post back if you need more information.

Hi
If the cycle won't complete then either it's a problem with the timer or a cold-water supply problem:-
If your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer.
It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water.
