Has your drain for your washer backed up recently? Or is the drain hose from the washer sealed into the drain pipe, meaning that you can't just lift the hose out anymore? There needs to be air around the drain hose or it will cause the washer to allow water to be siphened threw the drain by not closing the filling valve. This can also happen if your drain is backed up. Rooter the drain out and make sure that the drain hose is not sealed up to the drain pipe and see if that fixes your problem.

SOURCE: I have an older Kenmore (Whirlpool) washer......It

are you sure it's agitating?there's a motor coupling that brakes, you'll hear the motor running but it isn't doing a thing, the coupling connects the motor to the tranny. and it's made out of plastic, check this out,if it's not this then you could have a bad tranny and you can check while you're checking the coupling usually when the tranny goes there's oil from it on the floor or on the area around where the motor is.copy and paste this the video should help you out.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9K1KHEogf3c

I have kenmore 80 series heavy duty/ super capacity plus washer that after it fills with water, hot or cold and it starts the wash cycle, I noticed that the agitator only moves once in awhile and stops

hum either a bad timer sticking the point contacts close. have u tried this in all cycles? and possibly a motor with bad windings not enough power to run agitation? try running in mild or gentle and see what happens? I was tempted to say the cam dogs in agitator but they dont work then stop then work, when they go out they go out.

How do I check and replace the water level sensor on my Kenmore 80 Series Hvy Dty Washer?

Try eserviceinfo.com/index as per your 80 series. There are various downloads there that may help access the water level sensor which is most likely the problem.

Kenmore washer 80 series 110 model not spinning.

unless your washer is over 20 years old, then it wont have a belt. the temperature of the water wont have anything to do with it spinning or not.
need to know if it agitates or drains and just wont spin.
if it agitates but no spin or drain, then you have a bad lid switch.
if it wont agitate or spin, but will drain, then you have a broken drive coupling.

Kenmore 80 Series will not fill up with water

if your washer will agitate when set to fill but not fill, then your pressure switch is bad.
also you may want to check and see if you are getting both hot and cold to your washer.
