Try to find same battery charger or camera and do Cross-Check, hook new charger with camera and confirm charging process and hook your charger in other same camera and confirm is it working? You will rectify the problem unit, either camera or charger.

Panasonic PV-GS31

You can find a charger at Wal-Mart for about $45 that includes a car charger. I just got mine there after searching Best Buy and Circuit City to no avail! Just make sure to check the back of the case for compatibility with the battery and/or camcorder.

Wont turn on

Hi Bismi, my PV-DM2792 behaves for last four days in the same way - double clicks when power button is depressed and the light PROG is flashing every second continously. I have called to the Panasonic customer service and they could not propose a solution to this problem other than contact an authorized dealer in my area. SirJ

Panasonic PV-GS19 Mini DV Digital wont turn on

I have about 2 dozen of these that my students use at my school and the power supplies are kept in a locked room only to be used by me. The reason? They get easily damaged. The little metal part that plugs into the back of camera is often the culprit. If the power supply/charger is pugged in and the metal tip at the other end touches anything metallic (keys, metal tripod, etc.), it will short out and render the unit useless. If the amber light doesn't go on on the charger, and you are sure you it properly connected to a power source, then my guess is that it's a damaged power supply. You can purchase a new one online at Panasonic Go to this link and click on the Parts locator link near the bottom of the page. http://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/vProdSupportModel?storeId=15001&catalogId=13401&displayServiceCenter=false&displayPartsLocater=true&itemId=88739&catGroupId=25203&displayTab=A&surfModel=PV-GS19&surfCategory=Camcorders%20with%20SD
