Hi, dryer doesn't stop.
changed out timing module ($100). same problem. machine heat-cycles and tumbles correctly. removed motor from timer , and jumpered with 120v. motor works. so it appears that timer module is not getting power to energize timer motor.
is it the circuit board?
there is a thermostat on the exhaust with 4 leads. they alternate with 120v and send power to ignitor when there is a call for heat.
there is another module next to this thermostat (on the exhaust), which has two leads and on the other side is a strip about 1-1/2"long x 1/8". most likely some type of sensor (humidity maybe?).
thanks for your help
coz
If u r unable to know where exactly the problem lies that click on the link below for help regardings step by step check up of ur machine with diagrammatic details:

Can you find an electrical diagram in the control panel. you can trace which part controls the timer motor. it could be an interlock in the motor that has no contacts or anything. trace the diagram.

If your dryer seems to run forever, it could be because of a clogged vent or internal ductwork. Your dryer may have an automatic cycle that turns off the dryer when the clothes are dry. It does this with a special thermostat or moisture-sensing system.
Normally, this is what happens during an automatic cycle:
This cycle continues until the clothes are dry. But…if the vent is clogged, the dryer may never reach the proper operating temperature, so it doesn't send the signal to the timer and the dryer continues to run indefinitely, even if the clothes are completely dry. To fix the problem, clean the vent and/or internal ductwork.
Hi,
If your dryer is not drying like it once did or if you just have not taken the time to give yourself a clean dryer in a long time then you need to do that. At least once a year the dryer cleaning should take place. Lint build up in the dryer duct is one of the main causes for your dryer to fail.

there is hot air coming out of the vent. so i would assume that the duct is not clogged.
