This is a feature provided by the manufacture to protect the print head overheat for small dot matrix printers. Here giving printer head connection diagram, the last two row have temperature sensing (thermister) connection pin 1 to 1. If the thermister is faulty in the print head the printer will auto pause abnormally. Check the printer with compatible / EPSON recommended print head. make sure the ribbon you use it is genuine epson ribbon. and also adjust the liver by keeping 4 point .

It thin you can only switch from unidirectionalal to bidirectional
(last printing on cariage return also, doubling speed). If she is not already in this mode.

if u use up tractor use down tractor or inverse the operation 
coz your problem is in paper sensor in up or down printing

All LED of Epson LQ-300+II are blinker can't print...

this is a case of mechanical error. check if something is blocking the movement of the printhead during initialization. try also to put a little lubricant oil on the carriage rail (stainless metal where the printhead is installed. you should see it when you lift up the top cover of the printer) also try to change the ribbon. if all these methods doesnt solve the problem then i suggest you bring your unit to an authorized service provider and have them take a look at the internal components.

Hello This condition of Dot Matrix printer only due to
1. Bad ribbon cartridge (25%) 2. faulty print head (75%)
First replace your ribbon cartridge and try printing, if not OK then you have to replace the print head.

Pausing printer

Try enlarging your "Printer Buffer" if you can.. OR maybe you need to set your Parallel Port to a differsnt mode in the BIOS. And/Or try updating your "Drivers" see if this all helps.
