Dots on my nec np215 - NEC NP200 Projector

Usually red wire is for positive connection and black for negative. Sometime negative connection is red with dotted black or lined black wire.

I think your projector lamp and LCD area is dusty.
please use pressurized air can and clean the area.also check the dust filter.
do it carefully.

1,white spots appeared on screen,means the DMD chip is broken,you need a new DMD chip.

It has a bad DLP chip.

I have 2 NP-200 projectors installed in a school which show white dots on a black background and black dots on a white background. This is caused by the DMD chip losing pixels. Only solution is to replace the chip, I'm researching now if that i an economical solution.

unfortunately even if it's a new projector, the lamp can go bad. since you stated that it's new, i would get in contact with NEC support, and let me know what going on. it should be still covered under warranty.

what does the blue light problem look like on the screen. is it all over the screen, or small dots, or a dim haze etc?

You need to take it to the service. they'll change a card.

Okay, I had the same problem exactly.

You can't fix it yourself. I took it to the NEC lab and they changed a card. luckily it was covered by the warranty.
