Whirlpool wall oven F1E1 error

if wiring ok possible weak ignitor
tip

I get error F7 on GE oven.

Hi.

F7 on GE ovens means that there is a poor contact to keypad detected. When this happens the problem is either keypad or control panel.

Problem is fixed testing keypad and control assembly and replacing the faulty part.

Here the procedure to test the parts:

Hold down the CLEAR/OFF button on pad.
Disconnect the ribbon cable connecting control panel to pad and wait about one or two minutes to see if the code comes back.

If the code comes back, then you likely need to replace control assembly.
If the code does not re-appear on display, then the problem is with the key pad. In that case replace the key pad.

The procedure is only indicative. In case of faulty control assembly procedure may not be a definitive test. In that case replace the control pad first.

Remove control panel on built in oven UH53K

To remove the control panel of the Hotpoint UH53K Built-In Oven, you will need to unplug the power to the oven. Then, you will need to remove the screws from the bottom of the oven, as well as from the side wall. Once all the screws are removed, carefully lift up the control panel to access the wiring beneath it. Disconnect the wiring, and then unscrew the mounting bracket for the control panel. Finally, remove the panel from the oven and you will be done.

Need a diagram of wiring for a gas wall oven to

As far as I know almost all kitchen appliances have a wiring diagram of all electrical connections. usually found on either of the side panels(if they are removable) or inside the control panel where the temperature and the rest of the knobs are located, but if yours does not have one you will need your oven make and model number and refer to the following websites for the diagram : www.partselect.com or www.repairclinic.com.

My oven keeps throwing a F-3 or F-2 code and shuting down. It is a model J SP26G0P1WH

Hi, you will need to Check the sensor harness and harness connection between the oven sensor and oven control. Replace the oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.

This will correct the issue.

Digital screen goes off oven will not work stove top is working fine

The "digital screen" is connected to the electronic control board which controls the oven (the surface elements on the stove top will not be affected by this problem). The "flickering on and off" could be any connection that feeds the electrical supply of the control board. Like something in the wiring harness that feeds the relay board, or the wiring harness that goes from the relay board to the electronic control board. It could also be the relay board or the electronic control board themselves. To isolate the problem you would need to check electrical supply to each board at the time of the "problem" when the "digital screen goes completely off." This would tell you where you "have" the voltage and where the voltage supply is lost. If it is a loose or burned wiring harness replace the harness or individual wire causing the problem if it turns out that it is the relay control board or electronic control board replace them. The relay control boards are typically around $75.00 and the electronic control board $150.00 and up. Might be cheaper to purchase another used oven or bite the bullet and buy a new range.
