Question about Maytag LSE7806A Top Load Stacked Washer/Dryer

1 Answer

Maytag stacked unit LSE7806ACE. dryer is fine , the washer will not fill or run, if I manually turn the timer to drain the tub spins and the lid switch works fine. But the unit won't do anything f

Turning the dial to any wash sequence and pulling the knob to start does nothing. With the knob still pulled I turn the dial by hand and it will start to spin very fast. Opening the lid stops the spinning, close the lid and it resumes. If I leave it like that it will complete the run and stop. But as mentioned any position to start a wash cycle- nothing happens

You have a timer problem, the contacts are welded in spin mode.
This is almost always caused by advancing the timer by hand when the dial is pulled out in the "ON" position, causing arcing of the contacts.

SOURCE: Maytag stack unit Model LSE7806ACE leaks

It is most likely the tub seal. Take the two phillips head screws out of the front cover located low on the cover lift forward and remove. Set the machine two low level and fill with water only no soap or clothes when unit starts agitating look at the bottom center of the clothes tub if water is leaking here then you will need to replace the tub seal and tub bearing assembly.

I believe there is a fuse on the left side front under the front panel about a foot from the top of the washer.

Kenmore 80 Series washer wont turn on from the push-pull knob.

On this type of washer, you have to push it in to engage the dial and rotate it slightly clockwise then pull it out to start filling.

The wash dial on my hotpoint wmf760 is not selecting

The knob needs to be removed and the knob and the mating part will need to be replaced. The teeth on these parts wear off with time. There is a clip on the back of the knob that pulls off this holds the knob on. Then the mating piece will pull out. Eneter your model # at www.appliancehelponline.com for diagrams and illustrations. All parts come with installation instructions.

How do you remove the timer knob for a kitchenaide Model washer KAWE677BW1

I believe that comes off by holding the dial firmly and turning the knob counterclockwise. The dial should pull off. Be careful, I think the dial is an obsolete part.

The dial doesn't turn with the knob pushed in, when we go to set the wash. but it does move manually with finger tips

The teeth on the knob are probably gone. To pull the knob off remove the clip between the knob and the dial and pull knob off.

Kenmore washer model no. 110.26904692 I am replacing the Dial and guard timer and can not remove the knob. How do I get the knob off?

With the knob pulled out, rotate it counter-clockwise. If that doesn't work, rotate with the knob pushed in (I can't remember which position it should be in, but do know that it comes off by turning it counter-clockwise). With the knob off, the dial guard should lift off the center post of the timer.

Wash cycle knob turns without controlling wash cycle

it's possible go to www.repairclinic.com and enter the numbers you have posted and it will show you what they are. I have the same problem. What I did was not pretty but it works for now. I broke a piece off of your part#387997 and simply turn my dial that way and then pull the center out to start the wash. Considering a new timer is close to $100+ and it works fine this way , well you know...

Kenmore series 80 model 110

If you are talking about the Cycle Selection knob, turn the washer to an OFF position, or unplug. I can't remember if you need to pull the knob out or leave pushed in, but the knob will come off by turning it counter-clockwise. After unscrewing it and removing, the plastic dial under the center knob will simply pull off. I hope this helps you. If you need further assistance, please let me know.

Rolex 1992 daytona watch

There should be 3 knobs on the right side of your watch. Unscrew the middle knob with the crown on it until it pops out. After it springs out, it will be in winding mode. You want to gently pull it out past this point, it will click into place and you will be able to set the time by turning the knob. After time is set just push the middle knob back in and turn clockwise unitl it is tight.

I hope this has been helpful,

Stove to hot burns everything

This is a simple fix as long as the oven is heating properly and the only problem is that the temp seems higher than what the temperature control knob indicates...

Purchase an inexpensive oven thermometer from the hardware store and place it in the center of the oven. Set the temperature control knob to 350 degrees F.

Check the temperature indicated on the thermometer in the oven after 20 minutes. If it's not within 5 degrees of 350, you'll need to adjust the oven's temperature control.

Turn the oven off.

Pull off the temperature control knob. You can usually pull it off by hand, pry it off with a thin screwdriver, or slide a piece of cord up behind it and pull.

Note which kind of temperature control knob you have. There are two types: The first has a screw in the shaft of the knob; the second has an adjustment dial on the back of the knob.

Adjust the temperature with the first type by turning the screw in the shaft with a screwdriver. Turn it clockwise to lower the temperature; turn it counterclockwise to raise the temperature. Turn the screw just a little bit in the appropriate direction.

Adjust the temperature with the second type of knob by turning the dial on the back of the knob. (This dial is held in place with a screw or a clip that will need to be removed.) Raise the temperature setting by turning the dial counterclockwise; lower it by turning the dial clockwise. The notches are typically in 5 or 10-degree increments.

Test the oven temperature again.

Repeat until you're in the right temperature range.

Good Luck!
