Yikes. Had a Panasonic AG-EZ30 take a bad spill today. Everything is working mechanically, no problems with transport, eject, etc. but it's only recording in greens and blues, reds are MIA. Think I blew a chip. Any chance of repair on this? Ideas about cost of repair or place to get it done? Not sure how old this camcorder is, but I'm estimating a few years, maybe as many as six or seven. Not even sure there's anybody who has parts anymore. Thanks very sincerely for any help! Lisa

This is usually caused by a failed component in the moisture detection circuitry within the camera. This will require disassembling the camera to remove the tape mechanism and then replacing the defective component, reassembly and calibration if necessary. This can be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired qualified service technician.
