Wash motor fault

This has been comming up every few months for nearly two years. Normal solution is to switch everything off ie re boot. This time no luck, took the back off dirve belt is fine, drum and motor move by hand, but on any program the motor is not roating ( I watched with back off). Water fill and drain works just fine and we are not overloading.

I am constantly getting a motor protection fault error. I checked the motor brushes they are fine. I even burnished the communicators. I found that if I hold the control buttons down long enoughI can over ride the fault but it takes me an extra 5 to 10 minutes standing in front of the washer pressing buttons and holding them down. Once it gets started though it goes thru the entire cycle OK. How can I turn this fault thing off?

I have had the same problem over the last weeks with W640.'Wash motor Fault it says. What does that actually mean? Or is it a heading for a multitude of possible faults.Switching all off and back on- seems to still work- but I need to do it more often/ or a couple of times before the 'trick 'seems to work.
Does it mean the machine is on it's last legs?

have an asko w640 about 8 years old- have a wash motor code- it drains and fills fine, washes intermittently if i only put in a very small load, spins out okay with a small load. Will not spin or tumble with a normal load. If i need to clean brushes, how do I do that, or is the motor shot? Also would like to find a service manual to repair it ourself but cant. Have tried all the searches on the web with no luck? can anyone offer any advise?

We got the same problem 2 weeks ago. Overode it by swiching everything off and then back on, wish we hadn't as te machine stopped washing 1 week later. Motor has gone $300 and it took the electronic controler out as well $300. Labour $100 plus call out $95. It'sa serious falut and should get it fixed which begs the question why have fault indicator ro this problem if you cna overide it. In addition you probbaly have a minor water leak from above the motor, which can be fixed with silicone. Asko saya it's machine lasts 20 years, think again as for a $1900 machine very disappointed. If the problem is fixed by switching the machine on and off, think about one thing: The ON/OFF switch is there bacuse when the machine is not in use, it shall be turned off.

Sounds like its just time for as motor. The motor is covered for 5 years parts only and 3 years parts and labor. Otherwise expect to pay about $180 for the part from an asko dealer. Only one I know of in the US is American Appliance in denver. 303 777 0993. Good Luck!

Need to reset date and time after changing the

Here's the instructions on how to do that :
Quick Instructions on Setting the Date/Time:
  1. To set the current date and time, press and hold down the SET/EDIT button for a few seconds. Release the SET/EDIT button when the Month (M) and Day (D) indicators start flashing.
Note: The unit will revert back to normal display if no other key is pressed for 10 seconds.
  2. While the Month (M) and Day (D) indicators are flashing press the LOCK button to cycle through the 3 available date formats.
  3. Once you have chosen an appropriate date format press the SHIFT button to switch between each of the different DATE, MONTH, YEAR, HOUR, and MINUTE fields. The field that is currently active will start flashing. To change the field's value press the LOCK button. Each stroke of the LOCK button moves one value up.
Note: If you go past the current year, you will need to press the LOCK button to cycle through the year 2189 and back up to the current year.
  4. Once you are finished setting the Date and Time press the Set/Edit button to return to the normal display. The Date/Time Stamper is now ready to print.

Espon Stylus Photo R210 solid red light near teardrop sign

most epson printers dry up after about 3-4 months so you will need to replace the cartridges and do a head cleaning about 3-6 times for them to work right. BTW the teardrop symbol means "ink".

press the button above the light for about 3 seconds to get it to move to the fill position. good luck!

No input signal

Check connections, Hertz rate, and settings (if you can read them). Otherwise, it may be time to whip out the cash and get a new monitor and/or computer.

Keypad freeze

Did the key pad froze before you took the battery off? If so, it mean the keypad is damaged. If you have insurance, you may call customer service and have it replaced for a new one.

If it frozed after you shoot it off, you might call customer service from another phone and they might help you to unlock your phone.
