The latest upgrade is ver 1.9. It is a downloadable ISO in zip file format. Samsung recommends Nero to burn this. Burn this to a CD-R not a DVD. I also suggest burning at a slow speed... IE 10x and trying high quality media IE .... Verbatim. 90% of the problems are related to poor quality media or too high a burn speed. This disk has to be highly accurate for it to work correctly. I've updated over 40 of these particular players.

Could not play the "Hulk". The picture was fine, the audio had static and when the actors talked, they sounded like they were under water. I had previously played "Jumper" and it was fine. I went back to the video store to get another copy of the Hulk and it was also unwatchable because of the sound distortion. Is there it a problem with the disk or the player? Have played a number of blu-ray disks and SD DVD's. This same thing happened one time before on "Nim's Island".
I could not play the Incredible Hulk and Hellboy II but I could play the Jouney to the Center of the Earth.
I have same model with same issue but I can add the following movies
Speed Racer, King of streets, KungFu Panda. Please let me know if this new version can solve my issue. Thanks for any reply to my problems
The Incredible Hulk blue ray disc won't play on my Samsung machine. The main menu comes up, but when play is pushed, the Samsung flahes the "slideshow" message and the screen goes blank. Very frustrating!!
