check if you can see the back lights, are they on?
if not look into the lcd with a torch to see if there is a pic present
if no lights but pic is present then inverter board is faulty..
repaire or replace..
tell what PC HP it is, model , and if laptop or desktop or what?
tell what is wrong or if wanting parts for tell what part is bad.
is the screen dead"? IDK
More than likely your Y-sustain board is defective, common problem with these sets. I would recommend you get a diagnosis to be sure before buying the part.
Sounds
like a definite power supply issue, if you open the TV, there is
likely a bulging capacitor on the power supply. Even if not a obvious
capacitor problem, the Power board is likely the culprit.
I'd suggest trying to get the repair done outside of a electronic repair shop, they would likely charge upwards $400 for replacing the power supply in most TV
Can buy new one on many websites, or used on ebay. at Shopjimmy.com you can search based on board #, and will give you list of compatible power boards, as well as a list of any other TV's that use the same power board, that will give you more options as far as finding a cheaper or even a used replacement to keep your costs to a minimum make
sure you buy based on the part # listed on the board, and not by the
model number of your TV, as there are usually many sub-models that all
have different interior parts, and most are not compatible with
each other.
Honestly, just buy a triwing screw driver(they're like 2 bucks on amazon), undo the screws, and remove the screens carefully. Buy new screens(idk where to get screens, though... Some DS modding website, probably) and carefully replace the screens, and put the screws back and tighten.
That should fix it, dude. Next time, don't let your sis even touch it, she's jinxed, I tell you!(just kidding about that last part)
