Question about HP 2509m 25 in. TV
My hp2509m monitor shows a picture for 1-2 seconds, then the screen goes blank. Troede from multiple computers - same résult. Problem started when desktop pc it was connected to list it graphics adapter.
I had the same issue, It actually turned out to be the backlights themselves. An easy way to check this is by shining a bright light on the screen while its on. you should be able to see the picture.

It is either the power supply or the backlight inverter board finally failed. You will need to do some voltages checking inside, also see if you can see any bad caps in the power supply.

I had the same thing happen, replaced the backlight inverter and it works fine. I got mine from http://www.lcdparts.net/LCDTVInverterdetail.aspx?InverterOriginal=V144-001MSS.
