Canon pixma mp210 and compatable ink cartridges

When i put a new compatable ink cartridge in the printer, ink screen level page appears showing low ink level, with just the thinnest line across bottom of cartridge, once i have printed work and the line seems to disappear although still new cartridge then printer will not print anymore saying cartridge is empty i know there is still lots of ink left inside, what do i have to do to enable me to print with these cartridges. thanking you in anticipation.

Try pushing the reset button for about 5 seconds. This has worked for me.

I just installed a new CL41 Color ink cartridge into my Canon Pixma mp210, and it does not recognize it. It keeps saying the printer is empty, or displaying Error Code E5. ANother thing is when I go to see...

maybe it have the ink level chip which can be resetted by removing the cartridge and oning and offing the printer for 5 times within 10 minutes coz it saves data of a cartridge upto 5 use before only.. and 6th time insert it.

Error 5 MP210 canon

Error 5 means a problem with the ink cartridges. Try re-seating the cartridges, ensuring the cartridges are compatible with the printer. If this doesn't work, sadly the only solution is to get new ink cartridges. Ink cartridges have a limited life span, and yours may have reached their end.

Replaced ink cartridge and it still says low ink

There is no way to reset the ink levels on this type of cartridge. Therefore, your printer will always think refills are empty. You can choose on the dialogue box to "ignore ink levels" and run the cartridge until it is empty. This is just one thing you will need to deal with on refills of this cartridge type.

I have a new canon mp210 printer ink is low i bought new ink to replace old their is no ink cartridges in printer. When i look at the pictures to load new ink and put it in alarm light is flashing

Even if the ink level is low, you can continue printing.Press the paperfeed knob for 5 seconds. inklevel indicator will stop now.
Sometimes a new (or refilled) cartridge is not recognised correctly.
When one color is really mt, stop printing and replace inmideatly the colorcartridge.Printing or scanning without the 2 cartridges in place is impossible.
