I have a 27" Toshiba television, I'm having problem with the sound. I've changed the sound output but nothing happen. Please help.

Hi
Jennifer Castillo

Here are some possible locations where to look to :
( Since I have no model for your TV or additional details which you have
replaced)

a) switching IC ( these IC switches the TV to Audio Video In)

b) muting circuits ( there could be one )

c) Check the audio out coming from the Jungle IC (also unknown)

d) check the supply lines of the audio IC (could be +12V, typical)

e) Check the headphones out (if available)

If there is an audio Out, connect an external amp to test.

If audio is present , check again for solder joints to main amp.

Use these as a guide in troubleshooting :

Computer Speakers

Your input is the Jungle IC, search on line for datasheet about it.

same with your Switching IC and Audio IC.

On some audio IC, volume control is included on it.

Let us know what you find or needs further assistance.

Skyworth flat t.v 12v model no. 20L01

If the set is completely dead its usually the power board thats causing it. I would check the fuse to be sure its good ( located next to where the power enters the set) But chances are you will need a power board. If so you can get one from www.tvrepairworld.com if you dont see it listed hit the contact us button and and send the model number of your set and what your needing and they will respond quickly to your inquirery.

Replacing vertical output IC won't poise this type of problem. Check the voltages at the audio output section.

There are a number of reasons for this type of behavior, but the resolutions depend upon the make and model of the unit involved. Can you please suplpy that info as well as the IC that was changed and I should be able to help.

No sound

Your camera needs audio/video chip IC replacement. further details can be provided if you know basic electronics and have proper tools for replacement of chip IC.
