You first take post( power on self test) connect power cord & disconnect signal cable you will see massage no signal check siganl cable then problem will be in cpu this problem may be solved by cleaning dust in cpu if montor shows no display then problem will in monitor open it check o/p of smps if not disolder path of eht if o/p comes then eht is faulty replace it

First, check to make sure the input selection switch isn't stuck, after unplugging the monitor power cable. It sometimes can get stuck, or just become damaged. If this isn't it, maybe it's time for a new monitor.
It sounds like the computer is sending a signal to the monitor, but the monitor is not happy with the signal.
First, I'd check the cables. Make sure they're all plugged in solidly to the right ports. If you have a spare cable, swap it out to see if it helps. Note that Component Video is not the same as RGB, so you can't just plug an RGB cable into Component jacks.
Did the monitor come with software that needs to be installed? Make sure that's installed.
Check the monitor manual for what kinds of input it can accept. Check your computer's manual for what kind of video output it can produce. Make sure you're using a protocol that both can work with.
Try connecting the monitor to another computer. Maybe the monitor is faulty.
Try using a different video protocol. If you were using your computer's HDMI port, does it have an RGB port? Can you use USB?
if the cpu is working and still getting no signal you need to check the cables from the cpu to the moniter specially the power cable, also try by replacing the power cable with a new one
Couple of items come to mind. In the menu of the receiver, is there a way to choose video and RGB? Set the receiver to SAT Connect the HD Cable Box to SAT Check the TV is on Monitor RGB. Check the input being used by the monitor RGB cables is selected on the TV. Have a picture? NO, receiver has issues. Yes? Do this with each input to confirm they work. You can reset the whole receiver to factory by holding the tone button down and holding the standby button for three seconds. (This clears your speaker setups, too.)
Turn the television on and as soon as the screen turns on repeatily press the input button or change the input to whatever input you are using from a source device. As long as you change it to anything other than RGB.
Your television is essentially a big computer monitor with multiple inputs and a tuner. When using your computer and shutting it down the monitor will go in a power save mode. You don't need to shut off your monitor due to this power saving mode. When you power up your computer your monitor automatically turn on.
With the VIZIO and the RGB (computer) input the television will act just like a computer monitor. When you have a computer connected it will power down automatically when you shut off your computer. When you turn your computer on the VIZIO will automatically come out of standby mode. This is through RGB only.
This is normal operation for the VIZIO but can see confusing when nothing is connected to the RGB input. If you change your television input to RGB it will sense no signal on the input and will go into standby mode after about 5 - 10 seconds. If you were to send a signal to the television through RGB it would automatically kick on.
The monitor connected to the system is set to receive video signals from the DVI port on the video card and it is not getting a signal.
Possible Causes:
Monitor is connected via VGA (Blue Connector). Fix by using the input select button to select DVI input)
The video cable is not connected to the correct port on the system (Or not connected at all)
The monitor is on, but the tower is not powering on or failing to complete the Power On Self-Test (POST). It the power LED on the tower is NOT on, or solid or flashing Amber then the tower is not posting. Flashing amber is normally a bad power supply, solid amber is the motherboard.
You need to change the input signal, get into the menu on your monitor and change the signal from rgb to dvi, hdmi or vga dipending on what cable you using for connection.
There is NO rgb connector on that monitor
Cable TV: Connect the LCD TV to the cable with CATV and Digital cable. Preset the cable TV channels into memory with Auto Scan function when using a cable TV system. Make sure you set the INPUT SOURCE properly (TV, VGA, S-Video, etc)
Is the green flashing on the tower or the monitor?
If it is flashing on the monitor, then it might be tht the monitor is not gettign signal from the tower.
To check, disconnect the monitor from the tower and check the monitor. If you get a msg on the screen like no input signal or check video cable, then 99% monitor is fine.
Check for the power supply light at the back of the tower.
Disconnect everything from the computer and then press and hold the power button on the comp for about 30 seconds.
Then connect the cables and check if it is working.
