Braun Multipractic Model MR72 -- When pushing the green button to activate functions, nothing happens. Green button engages with small black switch in the top of the unit which contains circuit board. Do we need a new circuit board or switch? Or a new Braun stick blender?

It need to be tested, testing the switch is easy you just need a multimeter, regarding the motherboard, that is more complicate, but if you do not find any other cause, then you replace the motherboard.

Alarm remote not functioning properly, no valet switch.

i would think the button is activating the fob, or when you put new battery in is it the right way or you may have pushed something inside and its come lose off the board, it would need opening up and having a look, and testing the switch.

Just bought braun 8585 electric shaver, return it to the store as nothing happens while charging. Got a new one and still not able to charge it, shouldn't the indicator turn red or green? nothing happens....

Did you insert a cartridge into the cleaning base? It needs that in order to work. Otherwise, try plugging the charger directly into the shaver. It should definitely charge the shaver, as long as the shaver is fine. Depending on the model, the charging indicator may be green or blue.
