USB I have the stratitec usb thing to hook up to PC to download picture from my chip but i don't have the software to run it in I used to have Sonic until my hard drivr chared. Is there a free download that i can use. If so can u sent me a link

You don't need any special software.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Your computer must recognize your camera automatically,.
Go to control panel -- device manager and look if they are a device iht a yellow mark .
If have a yellow mark, select and rigt clik "uninstall"
Restart your PC
If don``t work

Try connect in another USB Port
Try connect in another computer
If don`t work, maybe the USB cable is failure

check any updates of your phone for the software driver and install it to your computer..or betterremove your memory card and use card reader to download pictures or music.

It's very hard to troubleshoot software problems online, and it likely is a software issue. But why put up with the headaches of bad software in the first place? Please see this link, as it describes the use of a USB card reader as a much easier, faster, and less error prone way to download your photos. Note that USB card readers are also VERY inexpensive (some places less than $2 online with shipping):

you can download it form canon site or kodak easy share software. Download drivers, then install them, then reboot pc, then turn on camera, and finally hook up usb. Then run program or go to my computer and access camera files from there

You will need to "install" the software on your PC. Run the "setup.exe" program from your CD to do this.

You will also need to connect your camera with an USB cable to your PC to transfer pictures to and from PC.

If you don´t have the CD here´s a user manual & software download site for Vivicams. Ask them.

To start do the following:

Unplug printer USB, unplug power from pc and also remove the battery if it is a laptop, and restart printer and PC.
With printer still unplugged go to control panel>>printers and empty the printer cue.
Test a replacement USB cable and try plugging the printer on a different USB port.

If the above did not work , then reinstall the printer software using the printer CD. Unplug the printer and start software installation with printer USB unplugged.

A web page will open, follow instructions, select model, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
After downloading, find the file,double click on the file ,then if you get in troubles, follow the instructions below to reset and reinstall drivers:

• Unplug printer USB.
• Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
• Download driver from website, or use the disk and run the install file.
  
• Follow driver installation wizard.
• Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

2.The USB cable must be connected to the USB port in the PC which looks like this as in the below picture.



3.One Important thing is , do not connect the USB cable while installing the software. You need to connect when the installation software prompts.

You didn't say which Operating System you are using. Without knowing the OS, Service Pack,or NorthBridge Chip set, this would be hard to fix.

If the System is XP, XP Pro with SP1 or SP2 I would Suggest Upgrading to SP3 release candidate2.

If the usb is failing or hanging then best thing is to update chip set firmware.

Download everest home, open and run, click on the + sign by motherboard, click on chip set, click on northbridge at top of right column and google chipset updates.
