The "f" code means that there is a problem with your electronic range control or your "ERC" which is the logic board. sometimes it is simply a loose connect as they tend to be sensitive. Try wiggling the wire connections, with the appliance unplugged of course, and see if that clears up the problem. If not then you need to replace the ERC unit.

SOURCE: Jenn air oven problem

HI. this is a Communication error between boards. Check the wiring harness that links the Power relay board to the Main board. if the harness is fouled on any way, replace it asap. if the harness is in good condition, replace the power relay board.

SOURCE: Jenn Air W30400 wall oven does not heat.

Turn off the power to the oven.
Remove the racks.
Remove the BAKE element screws and carefully pull the element out.
Remove the wires from the element, being careful not to let the wires fall back into the oven cavity.
Use a volt meter set for continuity and touch the meter leads to the element terminals.
No reading is a bad element.
Replace the element.
If you do get a reading, the electronic control is bad.

SOURCE: I have a Jenn-Air Gas-electric

Hi raymond,

What you need to do now , is try to run through a setting by memory and see if you can get the oven to come on.

The problem is either of the two relay control board or the clock unit itself which is not showing any indication.

If you had any issue with the clock , i.e. it has been dim recently etc...then that could be a clock problem.

The solution is to replace any of them, If you have the feeling or any indication that the clock unit was completely ok , then you can try and run through a setting from your memory and check if the oven works , if not then most probably it's the relay control board that needs replacement.

Hope that helps..:) Let me know in case you have any queries.

F7 error code jenn-air wall oven

My 20 year old electric Jenn Air range recently flashed the F7 error code and beeped repeatedly. I shut off the circuit breaker until it cooled. The next day I turned it on and everything seemed fine. We baked a pizza and the
erro repeated when the oven was shut off.
I opened the front panel and noticed the wire ribbon connecting the front panel to the display was slightly askew. How that happened is beyond me. I pulled out the ribbon hold down clips, pushed the ribbon in all the way, and
replaced the hold down clips. The range is now working properly after replacing nothing.
The cheapest fix possible.

I just cleaned my Jenne Aire Expressions double oven. Now its flashing and beeping "FC" how do I turn it off?

Check your wiring harness, if its OK then replace the power relay board. A faulty board can cause fan issues and pull up the error you are seeing.

Can't release door after cleaning

Hi,

Sorry you are having trouble, unfortunately this is not an easy one to fix.

If the oven is cold then the sensor is telling the control it that oven is still hot or the control is stuck in the hot position.

There is not an easy way to unlock the oven without pulling the unit out and taking the top off to get to the latch.

I have attached a link to the service manual if you wish to attempt it.

If not I would suggest turning off the circuit breaker to the oven and letting it sit overnight. See if that will reset the issue, if not you will have a big job ahead of you or a costly repair.

Sorry I do not have good news for you on this one.

I have had the same issue, twice. my wife managed to melt the touch pad by baking and using the burner at the same time. this has happened to countless purchasers of jenn-air **** appliances. they should be sued and forced to fix their faulty design

F4 error code on Jenn-Air W30400BC expressions built in oven

Slone, F4 is the code for a shorted temperature sensor. This is the temp probe in the oven. There are 2-quarter inch screws holding it on. It should pull out through the insulation until the quick connect comes through. If you want to make sure, the sensor should ohm out at 1143 ohms at 100 degrees. I think you can be pretty sure that this is the problem. The part number I have is 704657. Catriver.
