Saying no sim card inserted in my nokia 6111, but my sim card works in other fones

hi im josh in cebu phils. may i help you? As a mobile phone techinician, Friend i will say that the problem centers on your phone and not on the sim card.
You phone is locked to the network of that SIM or commonly mentioned "not open line" thats why the software or the phone doesn't recognizes the SIM you are using because it is locked. To solve this problem you may go to your network provider and ask for assistance of opening the line of your phone so that you can use any sim cards you wanted. and your phone will now be unlock or "openline".Thats all friend hope i helped you good luck

Phone problem

hi im josh in cebu phils. friend if you put your sim card it will displays "NO SERVICE" it means that:
- your phone is lock to only one network or of that network you are using thats why when you used another sim the phone displays no service.
- your sim card has no problem it is just your phone that is lock to other network and only open to your current sim you are using.

Solution: you need to unlock your phone so that you can use other network you need to go to the network provider and ask them to openline your phone. or you can go to the nearest mobile technicians around you and let them do the job.it is just a software deal.it could be done in a short time. So go on. Hope i helped you friend good luck!

In most cases putting in your sim card will in fact lock the phone. but it's not permanent. So try it. put your sim card in.. if the phone works, then you don't have to worry about unlocking it. If it does lock the phone, just put back his sim into the phone and it will be fine. There are many places that you can unlock phones or even purchase unlock codes. This is NOT illegal, phone carriers just make it difficult to do. Good luck and let me know of the results.
