Hi i have one LG studioworks 14" CRT monitor connecten to CPU of Celeron with intel chipset. When i connected some other monitor to CPU it shows desired(satisfactory) output, but when connected my monitor,it shows "horizontal band" with along with a output screen (for example windows desktop) and as time of booting increses the band gets intensified and the visullazation of picture gets impossible. In the mean time i thought it may due to magnetic/electric field produced dut to Speakers but after pelocating them, problem is there.... Whether it is problem with my picture tube? Plz suggest me appropriate solution.

With windows xp turn your pc on when booting press f8 on screen select enable vga mode then press enter the computer will reeboot and all will be ok
The vga cable connecting to neck board gets dry and increases the brightness very high showing the out put as horizontal lines just if u expert in soldering and know baout circuit ..try reflow this connector
The monitor may not be able to handle the settings of the video adapter. If you boot into safe mode (tap F8 key as the computer starts), does the display appear correctly? If so, then you just need to turn down the settings (resolution, color quality, frequency) to the lowest possible settings. If the display still appears wrong, then it may be something wrong with the monitor. You can try connecting the monitor to another CPU and see if you can replicate the results.
