I have a Philips cd Recorder hook up to the Peavey Mixer. CD look like it record. When I take cd out that I record on. There nothing on the cd. I trying to record my sing using a microphone on cd . I had my peavey hook up by the profesional. I add the Phillips cd 2 year later and forgot how to hook it up. I have a red,white cable come from the back of Phillips cd Recorder Audio Out. Going to Record IN on the Peavey Mixer . Also do I need to use another Red,White Cable in order to make it work,

Man, that's a tough one. Best answer I can give, it depends. It would take a tech looking at it and making an evaluation. Sometimes it just takes out the front end (preamps), sometimes it's worse.

There are SEVERAL things to set. First is setting the EFX mix for those channels you want the effects to be active. Next, select the effect you want AND the TIME for the effect and FINALLY the amount of the effect output to go to the MAIN and MONITOR outputs. Also the effect disable button below the effects needs to be in the correct state. ALL of these have to be set for using the effects on the mics.
